Somehow it’s already October which means two things:
1. there’s only 3 months to Christmas
2. it’s Cyber Security Awareness month!
Cyber Security Awareness month is a yearly reminder for everyone to check that both personally and professionally, they’re secure and safe online.
This year’s overarching theme, as set out by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), is Have you been hacked?, with a new topic each week.
We’ll keep you posted throughout the month on any new tools or information brought out by the ACSC so you can stay secure and informed.
So without further ado –
Week 1 tools – have you been hacked?
ACSC have a released a fee and easy to use tool to check if you’ve been hacked, including scenarios such as fake websites, malware and scam emails. The tool will also provide easy-to-follow instructions on what to do next if you find you have been hacked.
