Everything waits for one person
When your IT person is away or flat out, requests queue. If they left, much of what they know would go with them.
Outgrown your IT?
Growth is good for a business and hard on its IT. Accounts, laptops and supplier contracts that suited eight people start to creak at forty. We take over the whole environment, bring it up to a standard clients and insurers recognise, and size it for where you're heading.
Warning signs
When your IT person is away or flat out, requests queue. If they left, much of what they know would go with them.
Each laptop is bought late and set up by hand, and access dribbles in over the first week.
A bigger client or your insurer asks about MFA, backups and patching, and every answer needs a phone call.
Admin passwords, renewal dates and supplier account numbers live in someone's head or an old spreadsheet.
Break-fix call-outs that were occasional now arrive every month, and each one is a surprise.
A second office or staff interstate put devices and networks out of easy reach.
We've seen a five-person business, with one person called in for break-fix, grow into an 80-seat company that suddenly needed its IT structured and brought up to standard quickly.
Full ownership
We take responsibility for the tenant, identity, devices, security, licensing, suppliers, backups, documentation and planning. Because nothing has to be negotiated between two parties, we can respond to a threat or an opportunity on the day.
Getting to a recognised baseline
The order matters. Identity and devices come first, because everything else depends on knowing who's signing in and from what.
Growth questions
Onboarding takes about three weeks: a free read-only assessment, a written fixed-price plan by day 7, cutover from day 8 to day 21. The baseline goes on during cutover.
The fee grows by $150 a month for every person you hire, and their licence and laptop come at cost. Nothing is charged per ticket or per project.
Send each one through Staff Changes in the Jinba Hub: role, licences, groups, shared mailboxes and devices on a single form, plus what should happen to a leaver's mailbox and OneDrive. Headcount then lists who you're billed for, with start and end dates, so a big hiring month never turns into a surprise invoice.
We don't share admin rights with an internal IT person, so it's worth talking it through early. We'll plan the handover with you so nothing they know is lost.
Today's headcount and a guess at next year's is plenty to go on. We usually respond same day.
